CC&R Revisions

During the 1999 legislative session, the Nevada legislature passed a law requiring all associations formed after January 1, 1992, to revise their governing documents to reflect the changes in Nevada law. This means that an association must revise its CC&R’s, Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation and Rules & Regulations. Most associations formed prior to January 1, 1992, should also have their governing documents revised because there have been many changes to the law applicable to associations over the past eight years.

Since 1992, the Nevada legislature has passed a number of bills that dramatically effect the manner in which associations must be operated. In addition, the new State laws contradict many standard provisions of association’s governing documents. Thus, it is impossible for board members or homeowners to understand their respective rights and obligations simply by reviewing the association’s governing documents.

We will provide your association with a flat-rate bid to amend your association’s governing documents, including the CC&R’s, Bylaws and Rules & Regulations. Also, as part of our flat fee, we will meet with the Board of Directors and homeowners to discuss the revisions to the governing documents.

Please contact our offices to schedule an initial no cost consultation regarding amending your association’s governing document. We will also submit a written bid to your association via letter or e-mail.
